We’re very lucky and grateful for what we have. It’s okay not to feel ok. Even the frustration you are feeling right now can be manageable. Identifying what you are feeling matters most.
The half-full glass is a popular analogy often used to represent one’s perspective or outlook on life. It is used to illustrate how individuals can perceive and interpret, and reframe situations differently based on their attitudes, beliefs, and mindset.
For example, I am frustrated with my current situation. That means we are feeling Frustration right now. So, what made us feel frustrated – the triggers? Name it to tame it. If you know the triggers, you can deal with them. You can self-regulate your feelings into something meaningful –
Mindset:
Frustration – The Glass is Half Empty!
Flip side Fact – The Glass is Half Full!
Fascination – At least, I have a Glass and some water in it, and I have the ability and resources to fill the glass up again!
Life is awesome!
Let’s reframe our frustration into something Fascination – Family Time, spreading love, celebrating small wins, spend more time in family, friends, society, customers and so on. A lot of blessings are ahead of you! Take a deep breath. Say a Personal Philosophy – your unique mantra.
You might think, I want a full glass of water. Can I fill the glass full? Is it possible?
Answer is Yes, it is!
If you think you can fill it up, you can!
Hammer the limiting beliefs that hold you back right now.
Practice Simple Disciplines Everyday to reach your full potential.
? Learn extra skills that you don’t have now.
? Read books
? Find a Mentor or coach if required
? Go to seminars and social events
? Go for a walk – run whenever you get a moment
? Reflect on your past experiences and life stories
? Find your sweet spots
? Ask for support if that is not a piece of cake for you alone.
? Define your Personal Philosophy.
? Create a roadmap
? Now, Start working with massive action and do all what it takes to fill your glass!
